If an Owl sits on your roof and hoots, the story goes that people in the house are going to die. It has proved to be quiet true, people in houses that Owl's sat on did die, it might have been 50 years later, but so what, they died.
Beautiful birds, how the colours blend, and the eye's are little short of spectacular. I am always amazed at the silent flight which I suppose adds to the myth above.
