Giant Kingfisher
No 633 - Giant King Fisher - Ceryle maxima
The largest of the region's Kingfishers and a fish eating bird. The male wears the red apron and the female the red trousers. Both have the great spike type hair styles, so they fit in perfectly with todays male youth (Human I think)
This style suites the kingfishers far better than the humans. Hair sticking straight up always reminds me of someone who has just had a terrific electrical shock and I'm always tempted to laugh at the rather comical sight.
